The course unfolds the evolution and structure of the Israeli Education system from its early days to the present.  The emphasis on educational reforms allows the students to follow and better understand the way educational reform work (or not work) in general and in the Israeli case in particular. The course combines theories from the fields of Philosophy, History and Sociology of Education in order to give the students tools and varied theoretical points of view, that are necessary for any Education Professional once entering the field of Education.
