Course description

Labor and Employment Law

The course will allow us to overview the regularization of the Israeli labor laws. During the course we will deal with both the legal bounding norms and the relationship between each one of them to the others - the constitutional laws, protective employment legislation, collective agreements, extension orders and the individual employment contract.

Throughout the course we will emphasize the unique principals and implication of the labor legislation. In addition, parts of the course will be dedicated to issues that require protection of the employments dignity, such as equality and privacy at the work place, and harassment in general and sexual harassment in particular.
