The Right to Privacy- Prof. Michael Birnhack
Our daily activities produce an endless trail of personal data: communication traffic, medical data, biometric data, financial data, social media data. There are those who collects the bits, process and use them: the state, corporations, and our “friends” online. Surveys repeatedly indicate that data subjects insist on their privacy. Now, take a look at your favorite social network. This is the privacy paradox, and the pro-seminar will address it directly. The seminar aims to first, explore the right to privacy, and secondly, to provide students with research tools and skills.
