Course description
The course focuses on the implications of economic policy, with a special emphasis on issues that are among the most important that Israel is dealing with.  Course topics include, but are not limited to: economic growth, income inequality, employment, globalization, inflation and education.  Macroeconomic models, including growth models, will provide the theoretical framework for analysis of the policy instruments.  In addition, the course will provide an empirical perspective of Israel from long-run vantage points as well as in comparisons with other countries.
