Course description
The course review and discuss system and structural approaches, methods and measures for topological analysis of geographic system. The course includes the following subjects: Graph theory and network analysis, small world and scale-free networks, multidimensional chain of connectivity and space syntax methodology. The student will learn to use software program based on geo-referenced data for analyzing various types of spatial geographical networks and with respect to topological and visual representations which are relevant for spatial behavior.
Prerequisite: introduction to geoinformatics part B (GIS)
