Urban geography
The seminar's objective is to review and discuss several domains in the urban geography research. In the current year, the students will prepare a seminar paper in one of the following research areas: size relation and spatial organization of urban system components such as population, physical infrastructure and social and functional variables; urban morphology – street patterns and land use spatial distribution, and the relationship between them; pattern and means of mobility; social groups in the city; environmental justice; the implications of urban planning approaches on urban morphology, mobility and social division.
