Course description
The course will introduce a variety of methods for computational modelling, which will be applied to several domains of cognition (perceptual choice, visual attention, memory and executive control). The models will be used to account for existent data and make further predictions. The course will also address controversies that involve competing models and theories. The course will consist of theoretical lectures + practicals (computational tutorials in Matlab that will show how to apply the theory to develop simulation models).
