The survey documentation course is a wide introduction for research and evaluation in an urban area.
The course includes frontal lectures in class and exercises which take place in Studio classes.
The students will work in pairs, choosing a site for their research, meetings in the studio classes will be dedicate to tutorial guidance.
The course will provide knowledge and tools for the practical application of research and documentation processes for heritage sites in built environments, in order to examine the sites' various values.
The course will combine the acquired knowledge and the various values in order to prepare a conservation plan and development.
- To prepare the research-related and practical infrastructure in advance of appropriate planning in a built historic environment.
