The curriculum of this subject aims to introduce the participants to painting as a discipline of many possibilities. The program is intended to develop:

·  conscious and individual progress of the student focused on both - mastering manual skills, and intellectual comprehension in the field of painting

·  the students` abilities to use the existing painting techniques, and develop their own

·  the students` skills of observation so that they may become conscious of the complexity of color, of reinterpretation, of deconstruction of form, to be able to show the not-seen.

·  the students` own artistic language through applying painting techniques

For the above purposes the student will be informed about different painting techniques – historical, and modern.
