Course description
The course will introduce key concepts of the cinematic language, and through them will present how meaning is created based on both visual and audial elements. In addition, we will discuss some of the theoretical and ideological issues derived from the centrality of the gaze in the cinematic experience, and which relate to the status of film as language.
