In this course, students will discuss key questions and basic concepts of directing movies. The course is a workshop in which each student must direct two exercises that have a recorded synchronic sound. In this semester we will extend the discussion on the subject of building a cinematic character, the relationship between the characters and the camera, the editing and the film plot, and questions related to the drama, dialogue, and the film sequence. Additionally students will hone their skills of analyzing films.
