The course will examine the unique themes which characterize Israeli cinema of the last decade. Through an analysis of several films produced in the last decade and a complementary discussion of earlier Israeli cinema, we will deal with narrative, aesthetic, social and historical issues which reflect the main tendencies of Israeli cinema studies today.
