Watercolors have served Israeli artists since the beginning of the 20^th century as expressive and illustrative tools. In this course we will discuss the properties of watercolor, compare the use of the medium with others' and ask whether the use of watercolors supports the historiography and  theoretical narratives of Israeli art.
