Course description
This course concentrates on the critical historicity of the discipline of art history and the
consolidation of its various research methods, prisms, theories, and paradigms. These
include formalism, semiotics, style, social histories, post-structuralism, post-colonialism,
psychoanalytic, gender and marxist practices.
