Course description
On the Israeli theatre are represented social and political conflicts which are very central in the Israeli society. The course will deal with these representations on the stage and emphasizes the theoretical-methodological aspects of the connections between theatre to society in junction of the national, the ethnic and religious. The discussion will confront between hegemonic images to the subjugated ones. Dan Urian's model will be in the center of the course through which will discuss neo-Marxist theories and postcolonial ones in connections to the theatrical event.  During the course each student will present her work, which she will be based her seminar.
