Course description

The course is a laboratory. Each student is required, a few times in the course of the semester, to conduct a rehearsal process, during class, guided by the teacher. The aim of the course is to develop an ability to conduct a working process with the cooperation of the actors, to exercise guiding actors, and to make the first steps towards decoding and crystalizing characters and their moves in a scene and in the whole play – psychological moves as well as scenic moves - practically, in the rehearsal space, in real time. But most of the attention will be focused on developing an ability to sketch the moves of the characters and the interactions between the graphically, and develop a natural and east ability to read plays three-dimensionally.

The students will be required to prepare their work in depth before each such presentation in class, and rehearse with the actors they chose.

The students shall be notified in advance as to the plays we shall be working on, so they'll have plenty of time to prepare them properly before the course starts.
