Course description
The goal of the course is learning certain central ideas of the philosophy of education which can help the students formulating their own educational view. The course will consider some basic questions in educational thinking: What is education? Who is the appropriate educator? How to make dialogue with students? What is the role of education in society and culture? During the course, we will discuss some philosophical views concerning these questions, and also some contemporary articles on these issues in Israel today.
