Course description
The formulation of assertions and convincing argumentation are essential in mathematics in general; and in mathematical proofs and explanations in particular. The course will focus on proper and improper formulation of convincing and unconvincing, concise and inconcise, and precise and imprecise assertions and argumentations, through the solution of diverse and colorful mathematical problems.
Evaluation: homework assignments, mini-lesson presentations, concluding class assignment.
