Course description

The course opens up the gate to multidisciplinarity as a way of thinking and as a method of inquiry through its defining principles, provides an initial demonstration of the unique combination between various fields of knowledge in the multidisciplinary program, and contributes to the development of creative thinking and cultural orientation in the world of today. We recognize the need to combine and integrate diverse domains of inquiry in order to achieve a comprehensive and critical insight, through a multidisciplinary perspective, which breaks down the disciplinary wall in favor of new affinities and interfaces that are more suitable for dealing with the complex and multi-cultural reality we live in. The course will review the historical development and changes in knowledge structure and the conception of knowledge from antiquity to this day, as well as the transition from a world of professional disciplinary boundaries to a world of multidisciplinary collaborations between scholars and experts.
