Lift and drag of airplanes. Propulsion of aircrafts. Performance of airplanes. The symmetry plane equilibrium eqs. Unaccelerated flight, gliding flight, level unaccelerated flight, climb, ceiling, range and endurance, turning flight, load factor, time and radius of turn. Take-off and landing. Take-off distance and time. Dynamics of flight, stability. Static stability, stability margin. Dynamic stability, longitudinal stability derivatives. Space dynamics of bodies. Motion under a central force. Orbits. Transfer between orbits.
