  • Weather forecasting – methods and strategy, advantages and weaknesses
  • Synoptic classification – methodologies and applications for environmental planning and climatological studies
  • Meteorological satellites – principles and identification cloud types and patterns

b. How major fields of life are influenced by atmospheric conditions and assisted by meteorological information

  • Aviation – principles and physical effects of weather phenomena on plains and pilots
  • Air Pollution – the influence of the atmospheric condition on air quality
  • Agro-meteorology – the atmospheric conditions needed for optimal growth of vegetation and live

The discussions involve descriptive physics, chemistry and biology

Prerequisite: Introduction to climate
The student duties contain presence in 100% of the lessons and having 60 score in the final exam
