Course description

Paradoxes in quantum theory

Lev Vaidman

The course is for third year undergraduate students and for graduate students.

The course deepens understanding of quantum theory clarifying the meaning of its various interpretations.

The course will cover the following topics

Interaction-free measurement

Hardy paradox

EPR paradox

Bell inequalities

Teleportation

Quantum games

Aharonov –Bohm effect

Aharonov-Casher effect

Time-symmetric quantum mechanics

Three-boxes paradox

Past of a quantum particle

Counterfactual communication
