תיאור הקורס

סמינר זה מיועד לסטודנטים הלומדים בתכנית לעיצוב במה, קולנוע וטלוויזיה. מטרתו להקנות למעצבים היכרות בסיסית עם תיאוריות מרכזיות וכלים מתודולוגיים בתחום החזותי, ולפתח יכולות ניתוח, פענוח והמשגה של היבטים חזותיים, מבניים, צורניים ורעיוניים ביצירות לבמה ולמסך. השיעורים מורכבים מהרצאות מלוות בחומרים חזותיים, תרגילים ודיונים. בכל אלו יינתן דגש לנקודות ההשקה בין התיאוריה והפרקטיקה, הן בתהליכי מחקר וכתיבה והן בתהליכי יצירה. במהלך הסמסטר הסטודנטים יעבדו על הצעת מחקר אישית ויציגו אותה בכיתה. כל סטודנט יגבש מתודולוגיה מחקרית על בסיס החומר שנלמד בקורס ובהתאם לנושא ולמטרות המחקר.

תיאור הקורס באנגלית

This seminar is for students in The Honor roll program in Design for Stage, Film and TV studies. Its purpose is to provide designers with methodological tools with which to analyze and critically interpret visual images. The seminar will introduce basic theories of the visual domain. It will include several methodologies for the analysis, decoding, and conceptualization of Esthetic, Structural, Formal, and Ideological aspects in the visual dimension of stage and screen works. Class will be comprised of lectures accompanied by visual aids, discussions, exercises, student presentations, and a case study. In all these the overlapping points of theory and practice in research, writing, and design process will be emphasized. During the semester students will write a personal research proposal and present it to the class. Each student will form his or her research methodology according to the specific research topic and aims.

במהלך הקורס - הגשת תרגילים ופיתוח הצעת מחקר לפי הנחיות שיינתנו. אישור הצעת המחקר עד סוף הקורס מהווה תנאי להגשת העבודה.

בסיום הקורס - הגשת עבודה סמינריונית או רפרט.

מרכיבי הציון הסופי

80% - ציון העבודה המסכמת (רפרט/סמינריון)

20% - השתתפות והגשת תרגילים במהלך הקורס, תהליך עבודה על הצעת מחקר אישית והצגתה בכיתה

8. רטוריקה חזותית וכוחה של המטפורה
9. גיבוש הצעת מחקר אישית, פרזנטציה, הכנה לכתיבת עבודה.
