A step by step introduction to the basic film techniques and the connection between them and building meaning : discussion on the structure of the picture, composition, presentation, screening, framing, color, motion, film space, the structure of the SHOT, editing, film time and correlation between the picture and sound; the ring, conversation and music, and among the components of the sound themselves. The course includes showing a full length movie, a lecture and an exercise.
