D:\Inetpub\shared\yedion\syllabus\08\2016\0851\0851623001_desc.txt סילבוס מקוצר הקורס יסקור את הרעיונות העיקריים של הנרטולוגיה ומספר גישות מרכזיות בחקר הנרטיב, כפי שאלו באים לידי ביטוי בבחינת נרטיבים קולנועיים וטלוויזיוניים, תוך עמידה על הדומה והשונה בין הנרטיב הקולנועי לבין הטלוויזיוני, ובין שני אלו לבין נרטיבים אחרים (בדגש על הנרטיב הספרותי). החלק הראשון של הקורס יציג את המושגים הבסיסיים של הנרטולוגיה ושל הנרטיב הקולנועי והטלוויזיוני. החלק השני יעמיק בבחינת מספר אלמנטים נרטיביים מרכזיים ובאופן בו הם באים לידי ביטוי בקולנוע ובטלוויזיה. החלק השלישי יסקור גישות תיאורטיות שונות בחקר נרטיבים קולנועיים/טלוויזיוניים – גישות סטרוקטורליסטיות ופוסט-סטרוקטורליסטיות, קוגניטיביות ומגדריות. החלק הרביעי ידון לעומק במספר דגמים וסוגים של נרטיבים: הנרטיב הקלאסי-הוליוודי, הנרטיב המודרניסטי, נרטיבים מורכבים, נרטיבים חוצי מדיה (transmedia) ועוד. Course description The course will present the principal ideas of narratology, and several important theoretical approaches to the analysis of narrative, as applicable to cinematic and televisual narratives, while touching on the similarities and differences between these two types of visual narratives, as well as the similarities and differences between visual narratives and other types of narrative (with an emphasis on literary narratives). The first part of the course will present the main basic concepts of narratology and of film and television narratives. The second part will examine in depth several important narrative elements as they apply to film and television. The third part will introduce several theoretical approaches to the analysis of visual narratives – structuralist and post-structuralist, cognitive and gender-based.
