Course description The course would like to examine the construction of female identity through the popular narratives of contemporary television prime time series. The growing power and central role of the TV media in the creation and reproduction of popular culture in a mass society, as well as the intimate power of the interaction which evolves between the story narrative on screen and the viewers, invites us to a feminist discussion on the feminine possibilities as they are represented through prime time TV series. Terri Higgins, 2009, Let's ask for the Moon-Tracing the 'Narrative of Despereation' Across Films for Women הוראות לכתיבת הסמינריון: תחומי דיון אפשריים: 1. שאלה המאפשרת דיון עומק בסדרה 2. שאלה הנבחנת באופן השוואתי בשתיים או יותר סדרות. השאלות לדיון יגזרו ויתבססו על הנושאים והטקסטים התיאורטיים והביקורתיים שהכרנו במהלך הקורס. מבנה העבודה: מבוא - הצגת הנושא/ השאלה של החיבור והצגת התשתית התיאורטית שמפרנסת את הדיון. שניים שלושה פרקים - שבמסגרתם מתמודדים עם נושא החיבור והשאלה שעלתה במסגרתו. סיכום - קצר שמסכם את הטיעון. העבודה צריכה להיות כתובה עפ"י כללי הכתיבה האקדמיים המקובלים ולהכיל הערות, הפניות ורשימה ביבליוגרפית בסופה. ניתן לאמץ את המודל של כתב העת תיאוריה וביקורת, אך כל מודל של כתב עת אקדמי אחר יהיה קביל, בתנאי שתהיו עקביים. ארכה של העבודה: בין 18- 20 עמודים. הוראות לכתיבת עבודה מסכמת: עבודת רפרט יכולה להיכתב כחיבור שהיקפו קצר (6-8 עמודים) באחד משני תחומי הדיון שהוצעו לעבודה הסמינריונית. היא אמורה לציית לכללי הכתיבה האקדמית כמפורט לעיל. הגשה: את העבודות יש להגיש למזכירות החוג לקו"ט עד לתאריך הנקוב בידיעון. כמו כן, יש לשלוח אותן אלי במייל.

תחומי דיון אפשריים: 1. שאלה המאפשרת דיון עומק בסדרה 2. שאלה הנבחנת באופן השוואתי בשתיים או יותר סדרות. השאלות לדיון יגזרו ויתבססו על הנושאים והטקסטים התיאורטיים והביקורתיים שהכרנו במהלך הקורס.

מבנה העבודה:

מבוא - הצגת הנושא/ השאלה של החיבור והצגת התשתית התיאורטית שמפרנסת את הדיון.

שניים שלושה פרקים - שבמסגרתם מתמודדים עם נושא החיבור והשאלה שעלתה במסגרתו.

סיכום - קצר שמסכם את הטיעון.

העבודה צריכה להיות כתובה עפ"י כללי הכתיבה האקדמיים המקובלים ולהכיל הערות, הפניות ורשימה ביבליוגרפית בסופה. ניתן לאמץ את המודל של כתב העת תיאוריה וביקורת, אך כל מודל של כתב עת אקדמי אחר יהיה קביל, בתנאי שתהיו עקביים.

ארכה של העבודה: בין 18- 20 עמודים.

עבודת רפרט יכולה להיכתב כחיבור שהיקפו קצר (6-8 עמודים) באחד משני תחומי הדיון שהוצעו לעבודה הסמינריונית. היא אמורה לציית לכללי הכתיבה האקדמית כמפורט לעיל.

הגשה: את העבודות יש להגיש למזכירות החוג לקו"ט עד לתאריך הנקוב בידיעון. כמו כן, יש לשלוח אותן אלי במייל.
