The course will examine J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier. In the frame of course participants will play the Well-Tempered Clavier on the piano. With regard to analysis and playing of the preludes and fugues from the collection special attention will be devoted to keyboard instruments of the period, articulation, embellishments and other questions of performance practice.
