The course will be devoted to the piano music of the 20^th century, with emphasis on the specifics of the texture, harmony and piano technique of Debussy, Ravel, Bartok, Schoenberg, Hindemith,   

Scriabin, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich. The course will also provide a general review of the masterworks by the major composers of the second half of the 20^th century, including Israeli authors.
