לאורך השנים שימשה האמנות כלי אפקטיבי להתנעת שינויים חברתיים ופוליטיים. ההרצאות השונות בסמינר יציגו מקרי בוחן, בארץ ובעולם, של אמנים בודדים ו/או קבוצות של אמנים שעבודותיהם ופעולותיהם האמנותיות נוצרו כמחאה למצב קיים וכניסיון להניע את החברה לשינוי.
ההרצאות המוצעות יציגו אמנים ותנועות לאורך ההיסטוריה וברחבי העולם, במגוון מדיומים, כגון: גרפיטי / אמנות רחוב, כרזות ומניפסטיםפרפורמנס אורבניקולנוע דוקומנטרישירי מחאה, תיאטרון פוליטיתערוכות אנטי-ממסדיות
Course description
תאור הקורס באנגלית
Throughout the years, art has been an effective vehicle to inspire and promote social and political change. The various lectures delivered in the seminar will present local and international artists, or art movements, whose artistic activities were created to protest an existing condition and to inspire the public towards social and/or political change.
The lectures will introduce a large array of artistic mediums including graffiti and street art, posters and manifests, urban performance, documentary film, protest songs, political theatre, anti-institutional exhibitions.
