Course description
How Does a Law Develop in Eastern Christianity? Reading Syriac Texts
In this course we will focus on reading Syriac courses which can serve as evidence of the rise of Christian legal traditions in late antiquity, or discuss it, and in developing linguistic skills in Syriac.
Pre-requisites: elementary syriac. Participation in the seminar, of the same name, is highly recommended (677477301).
