Legal Theory
The course will address fundamental questions in the philosophy of law. In virtue of what a social rule is part of a legal system? Is there a general duty to obey the law? Does an adequate interpretation of the law refer to moral norms and principles? The main texts that we will read were written by H. L. A. Hart, Ronald Dworkin and Joseph Raz.
