Legal Research and Writing

The course is designed to provide first year students with legal research and writing skills. Through a series of active exercises, students will learn the ways legal professionals conduct research, frame and analyze legal propositions, and present their claims in writing. The course meets once every two weeks, and students will write papers that form part of the basis for in-class discussion.
