Course description
Latin for Beginners
Latin course for students with no Latin experience. Students are expected to spend several hours a week in study and homework preparation. Most of the course is devoted to the acquisition of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary through integrated readings. The course aims at preparing students for independent reading of classical Latin texts.
The text books used: Wheelock's Latin 7th edition, and Workbook for Wheelock’s Latin 3rd edition
Students’ duties: Attendance and active participation, completion of homework assignments, short quizzes, mid-term and final tests.
