Course description

The seminar will deal with the influence of Aristotelian logic on certain Islamic sciences such as grammar, principles of Jurisprudence, Kalam and Balagha. During the seminar, we will read about logical elements that penetrated into the mentioned sciences and influenced their content and structure.

 

Course Requirements:

Active participation during the meetings. A student who intends to write a seminar paper is supposed to give a short lecture (up to 30 minutes) on the subject of his paper.

The date of submitting the paper is at the time of university submission.

Grade:

20% active participating+ 80% submitting paper= 100%
