Course description

Religion is a pivotal element in the formation and construction of reality throughout history. This is all the more true for a rich historical religious heritage that serves as a model to be imitated at a certain period of time.The course deals with the reflection of the early set of religious terms in the writings]of Islamic circles today. The course will examine the role of canonical texts, the Qur'an and  Islamic tradition, in the formation of contemporary reality.
