Course description

The purpose of this course is to develop the capacity of reading texts in modern Arabic, and to expand the student's knowledge of Arabic grammar and syntax, as well as of Arabic vocabulary. The course will include a systematic study of advanced grammar and syntax, and the reading and translation into Hebrew of Arabic texts, mainly from the media. The level of the texts which will be read will rise gradually during the course, with the aim of achieving the ability to understand texts without a dictionary.
