This course presents some basic concepts and approaches in moral philosophy. In the beginning of the course there is a brief discussion of the roles and objects of moral philosophy, and then five major theories will be discussed in detail: those of Socrates, Aristotle, John Stuart Mill, Immanuel Kant and Friedrich Nietzsche.
