The seminar, designated for the department's faculty and graduate students, will host a guest-lecturer every week, either from within the department and School of Jewish Studies and Archaeology, or from other universities in Israel and abroad, who will illuminate a text and its interpretation in Jewish tradition from diverse angles. The seminar is obligatory for the students of Masters-Degree, who will thus be exposed to world renowned scholars as well as to the research taking place within their own department.
