This course aims to enable to participants to read texts in Galilean Aramaic, both in printed editions of the texts and in manuscripts. The course is based upon the systematic study of the basic forms and selected readings from Palestinian Rabbinic literature. Particular emphasis is placed upon the effective use of the grammatical aids that accompany the course. These aids have been prepared from the most accurate textual witnesses that are currently available, and are based upon the current state of research.
