"There are only three ages for women in Hollywood: babe, district attorney and Driving Miss Daisy" (Goldie Hawn in The First Wives Club).
How has the 'new Hollywood' responded to the 'new woman'? During the course we will investigate contemporary cinema's ambivalent and complex relationship with gender and sexual identities in the wake of feminism.
