Course description
This course is meant to provide students with a basic knowledge of modern literary Arabic. It will include the study of Arabic script, of basic Arabic grammar and syntax, of basic Arabic vocabulary, the initial use of an Arabic-Hebrew dictionary, and the reading of short newspaper and other texts.
