The departmental seminar provides a forum for medieval studies in the university. Attendance is mandatory for medieval history students but the seminar is also open to advanced students conducting research on medieval topics in other departments. The seminar will include reading primary and secondary sources central to the discipline. Throughout the year students, faculty and invited guests will present their medieval focused research in the seminar
