Criminal Law
This course deals with the general part of criminal law, focusing particularly on the requirements of criminal liability. Topics discussed in the course of the program include: causation, criminal liability for omissions, the mental element of crime (subjective and objective fault, including strict liability); accomplice liability and the law of attempts; and defenses in the criminal law, namely, intoxication, insanity, unvoluntariness, mistake of law, self-defense, necessity, and duress.
