The course deals with different kinds, forms, applications and manifestations of creative and inventive thinking in different domains, such as science, technology, interpersonal relations, art and sports. Emphasis will be placed on the characteristics of creativity and inventiveness, on the differences between them and on the cognitive, personal and environmental conditions which promote or inhibit these kinds of thinking. Different levels and forms of manifestation of creativity and inventiveness will be discussed, as well as the processes characterizing them and various approaches and methods for their development and promotion in different domains.
