Course description
The course deals with problem solving and decision making in different domains, for example, science, mathematics, economics, personal issues, education, family, education, management and administration. Different methods and models for the investigation of problem solving in different frameworks, as well as strategies, techniques and skills for problem solving and decision making by individuals, teams, and larger bodies, including computer involvement will be presented. Emphasis will be placed on the involvement of cognitive, motivational, and emotional processes in problem solving and decision making, referring to issues, such as what is a problem, what are the characteristics of problem solutions, differences between simple and complex problems and the variables affecting success in solutions and decision making.
