Course description
This course attempts to account for selected contested issues regarding land, terrain and territory. The course will discuss the concepts of 'the end of territory' or borderless world, territory as a device to control and to contain people- ie. territory as an oppressive tool in state hands and territory as a source of (national or ethnic) identity. The course applies the concepts introduced to Israel context.
