Course description
The course will introduce students to major topics in the study of the books of Psalms and Song of Songs through the prism of the history of their exegesis, from the Middle Ages to modern times. We will study specific chapters and compare them, as well as highlight aspects of language, literary structure, their "poetic" definitions and their place within the writings.
