Course description
During the lkast decadex feminist and queer studies have brought about new interpretatio0ns of old, canonical texts. In this seminar we will cheque some of the theoretical ways of interpretation with regard to the ethical commitment of the interpretaor (not necessarily his or her religious commitment!) the seminar will fuse theoretical and textual discussions basically from the Hebrew Bible, 2nd Temple literature and the beginnings of Rabbinic writings.
