Course description
JUDAISM AND CHRISTIANITY IN CONFLICT AND CONVERSATION
A study of the centrally important role of Jews and Judaism in the development of Christianity, from the death of Jesus until the end of the Middle Ages.  Discussion will focus on the New Testament, the church fathers, legal documents, and polemical literature – as well as on Jewish sources reflecting the Jewish-Christian encounter.
