Course description
A.D. Gordon and its Place in the Zionist History
A.D. Gordon was an exemplary figure for many Halutzim of the Second and Third Aliyah, a teacher to some youth movements, a source of inspiration for many Zionist intellectuals and a thinker who engaged with universal questions – consciousness, religion and so on – and with particular issues such as Zionism, its meaning and goals. In the course the we will learn about Gordon's personality, his main ideas and his place in the frame of Zionist thought.
